13U Win USSSA AAA World Series
The Midwest Mud Dogs 13U team was won the USSSA AAA World Series in Kansas City last month. This is the first championship for the Mud Dog program. 14U Mud Dogs Finish 3rd at AAA State Tournament
The 14 year old Mud Dogs competed in the 14AAA State Tournament this last weekend in St. Louis. The Mud Dogs went 2 -1 in pool play and advanced to the final 8 on Sunday for bracket play and finished in Third place. Scores and teams: Pool Play Bootheel Thunder VS Mud Dogs Win 5-1 ST. 13u Win Memorial Day Tournament in Kansas City
The 13u Midwest Muddogs went 3-1 winning their pool and goiong 6-1 for the weekend winning the Memorial Day Tournament for the 2nd straight year. Friday night the Muddogs beat the JC Hawks 11-5, then on Saturday beating the Leawood Mustangs 8-1 and lost to the KC Astros 4-3. Sunday they came back from the loss and beat the Blue Springs Blue Rocks 9-3. Monday showed off there power by getting at least 10 or more hits in all three games beating the KC Heat 13-2, KC Impact 10-5, and KS Crush in the championship game 11-6.
Mud Dogs 12U Win Tournament in Nevada
The Mud Dogs went 6-0 in winning the championship at Nevada this past weekend. On Saturday, the Mud Dogs defeated the Stampede and the Sliders to earn the second seed in bracket play on Sunday. Layn Hurst had five hits including a home run to lead the team. Parker Dent and Luke Hauswirth also hit home runs. Sunday began with the Mud Dogs defeating the North Kansas City Hawks by a score of 16-1. Camron Witt was 2 for 2 with a home run, and Landon Bell picked up the win on the mound. 12U Mud Dogs win the Hap Dumont NBC World Series
The 12u Midwest Mud Dogs won the Hap Dumont NBC World Series this past week in Harrison Arkansas. This was the 5th tournament won by the 12u Dogs and wrapped up a 53-19 season.
